Corona, CA - Tasman Roofing Products, manufacturer of DECRA Roofing Systems, has changed its company name to DECRA Roofing Systems, Inc. Tasman Roofing Products was acquired by New Zealand-based Fletcher Building on September 30, 2003, but it wasn't until December 19, 2003 that the name change became official.
The company acquisition included the sale of all divisions within the Tasman Building Products Group of companies. Fletcher Building is New Zealand's largest building materials manufacturer and distributor with operations in concrete, steel, plasterboard, laminates, panel products and aluminum extrusion for residential and commercial construction. The former Tasman Building Product companies have joined the Building Products Division of Fletcher Building.
DECRA Roofing Systems continues to be the market leader in stone-coated steel roofing. The DECRA product line includes DECRA Tile, Shake, Shingle & Shingle Plus.
